"I can't talk to you. You are a heretic."

This is quite entertaining. Somewhat enlightening. One thing I disagree with: she conveniently forgot Baruch Goldstein when she claims that no Jewish person has ever killed.

Wow, hard to argue with what she said. Very well thought out and defended. If I were able to speak like here I would use that speech everytime I saw someone with a crucifix, crescent, or star of david. Being a humanist, these times are quite frustrating when you realize that everyone is essentially fighting over fictinal character(s) and no one listens...

Is this a symptom of overmarketing? Have we pushed products so much that now people are toting religion as the latest fashion piece to drape over themselves like god on a T instead of Bob Marley? Or is it just a way to end any discussion you don't want to deal with or would result in less personal gain?

Guygoode and Jasen,

Thanks for posting, this site was getting a little dusty. I appreciate you livening things up here.

Great dialogue, and she really makes a number of good points.

It is a glaring ommission of Goldstein, but I think you'd agree that it hardly weakens her point.
